WARNING FROM TEAM BURNING MAN! This cache requires extensive travel on marginally (if at all) maintained gravel and/or sandy roads into Saline Valley. The roads are rough and a FULL SIZED spare tire (inflated and with good tread) is a MUST. Not recommended for low profile vehicles or unprepared individuals. Take PLENTY of water, food, shelter and good hiking shoes in case your vehicle gets disabled. This is a REMOTE DESERT CACHE. Cell phones do not work here. If you break down, you may be hiking for tens of miles in a hostile desert environment.
Cache is in a weathered 5 gallon hydraulic can with plastic inserts and a cover. It has a log sheet, some water and other swap items in it.
If you have a 4WD vehicle that can handle deep sand, after finding the cache a visit to the hot springs (located after the Bat pole) in Saline Valley to relax and meet some interesting individuals is highly recommended.
