Gris Ventres, or Grey Bellies, is a nickname for inhabitants of St Ouen, Jersey's largest and most remote parish. It came about because the men of the parish traditionally wore jerseys of undyed wool, rather than the blue ones worn in the rest of the Island.
This is one of two remaining micros out of four originally placed on a walk around the lanes of St Ouen.
