About 50 big trees of a wonderful poplar let leaves grow thick in deep-blue on both sides of the sand way and range when I go a campus, the way of the old department of science (a museum) side of Hokkaido University to the west.
What was planted for training in (1903), the farm of the forerunner former Sapporo agricultural school of the university in 1903 is said to this avenue lined with poplar trees known for picture postcards well with an opening. These the trees which are about 100 years years old tower over the earth in a manly way, and the pastoral scenery gathers a large number of tourists from national each place.

By typhoon 18 of September, 2004, a poplar nearly the half collapsed, but the rebuilding of the fallen tree, tree planting of Wakaki were performed. Wood tip is spread on the avenue which was "entrance prohibition", and about 80 meters walks are possible now.

It visited by the recreational travel of the office. It is the fourth cash hunting bounce of the Sapporo city in the rental bicycle because there was free time during a day.

To our regret, cash seems to do LOST.

We looked for at least half an hour but couldn't find it. Maybe there is more vegetation now than there was in May, maybe the cache is gone, or maybe we are blind...

Wow, I was the first finder after more than a year.
And it wasn't that difficult. The coordinates were pretty exact and we could see the cache from the path. We must wait a moment, because there was a few muggels around and than - uups - there it was.
After the performing of a little jig I was able to sign the brand new logbook.

Greetings from Frankfurt, Germany.
