ÄGGSKÄRS STJÄRNA
Esittely
Tämä kätkö sijaitsee Porvoon kaupungin Äggskärin saariryhmään
kuuluvalla Söderholmenin saarella. Saaret ovat Porvoon kaupungin
virkistysaluetta.
Äggskärissä on aikanaan toiminut Venäläisten luotsiasema, joka on
tällä hetkellä paikallisen kalastusseuran käytössä.
Alueelta löytyy virkistysmahdollisuudet sekä todella upeat
maisemat.
Saarelle pääsy vaatii kuitenkin kohtuullisen paljon suunnittelua.
Käytännössä tarvitset veneen. Jos et moista omista joudut
käyttämään matkailuyrityksiä, jotka järjestävä aika-ajoin retkiä
saarelle. Koska kätkö on saaressa ja aika kaukana rannikolta ei
tänne kannatta ihan lyhyeksi ajaksi tullakaan, joten aikaansa voi
kuluttaa vaikka pelaamalla. Vieraile myös Saint Helenan eli
Remmarhällen saarella, joka
on Söderholmenista hieman pohjoiseen.

Äggskärin saarista
Söderholmen muistutta yllättävän paljon Afrikan maanosaa, joten
tästä saimme kiusallisen idean toteuttaa tiettävästi maailman
suurin "Afrikan Tähti"-tyypinen peli nimeltään Äggskärs Stjärna.
Nimi on ruotsinkielinen, koska kuulosti hieman paremmalta kuin
Äggskärin tähti.
Äggskärs Stjärna peli alkaa Kairosta. Toki voit nytkin valita
Tangierin, mutta suosittelemme Kairoa paremman maihin nousun
vuoksi. Paikalla on hieno laituri. Muuten saatkin tuurilla käydä
annetuissa "Reference Point"- paikoissa. Saarelta löytyy sopivalla
mielikuvituksella niin autiomaata, viidakkoa kuin savanniakin,
vaikka saari ei kovin iso olekaan.
Pelilaudan koko on noin 370 m * 370 m.
Stjärna eli kätkö on 0.5 litran curver rasia. Purkissa on
aktivoimaton name tag geokolikko ftf-palkinnoksi. Kätkön
löytämiseksi ei tarvitse tehdä mitään vaarallista eikä kätkö
sijaitse missään ihmisen luomassa rakennelmassa. Kätkö itsessään on
paikassa, jossa D=2 ja T=2. Muutama kartalla esiintyvä paikka on
myös muutenkin jätetty pois kokonaan reference point listalta.
Tällä tavalla saatkin poistaa jo valmiiksi muutaman kohteen
pelilaudalta. Joten toivomme peli onnea, kunhan paikalle pääset!
Introduction
This cache is located in one of the Äggskär islands called
Söderholm in gulf of Finland at Porvoo archipelago area. These
islands are part of the Porvoo city recreation area. Äggskärr has
former Russian pilot station, which is currently in use by the
local fishing club. The area has opportunities for recreation and
truly spectacular scenery.
Access to the island, however, requires a reasonable amount of
planning. In practice, you will need a boat. Sometimes local
tourist businesses periodically organizes trips to the island.
Since the cache is an island, and quite far from the coast there is
no point of just spending short period of time there so this cache
could be fun way to study this island by playing. Visit also a new
spin off cache of Saint Helena - Remmarhällen island just north of
Söderholmen

the African continent, so we got this disturbing idea to make it
the world's largest known Afrikan Tähti - "Star of Africa" board

Like original Afrikan tähti , Äggskärs Stjärna game begins in
Cairo. Sure, you can now choose to Tangier..But Cairo has great
platform where to land your boat. Then go on "Reference Point" -
places to locate our Aggskärs Stjärna geocache. In the island with
suitable imagination one can find desert, jungle-like areas and
even savannah. Island is not very big so your Game board size is
approximately 370 m by 370 m.
Stjärna ie the cache is 0.5 liter Curver box. Jar had a
