Reflections of my childhood.
This was a rock quarry when I was a kid. In the spring we rafted down the stream, now called Lacewood, in the winter we skated on the ponds, now called Dunbrack, and in the summer we picked blueberries up on Sobeys hill.
We wove our way thru the storm sewers for fun on hot summer afternoons, and explored old stone foundations at this site. Today the storm sewers are fenced off, the ponds and stream are infra-structure. Childhood is sanitized.
Before doing this cache, here are the warnings to sanitize it:
DO NOT PARK/STOP ON LACEWOOD! IT IS EXTREMELY BUSY. CEDARBRAE IS VERY NEAR BYE.
CLOSE THE CACHE CONTAINER FULLY
RE-SEAT THE CACHE FULLY IN IT'S PLACE.
HAVE FUN!!!
