Geocache Description:

This cache is north of the not so grande. There are roads all of the way, but crossing a wash is only for foot traffic, or on 4 wheelers. Or 4x4 with high clearance.

This is a great ride on a wonderful desert. The views are great.
If you travel north of the not-so-grand a couple of miles, you will find a watering trough then head east from there. The stone saloon may have been a pioneer home. The idea of selling liquor to those building the railroad grade seems slim but possible. Please take care and don't deface this great old ruin.
The cache is an ammo can under a bush.... you find which one. Just little trinkets inside. Great for the young adventurer. This is my first cache. I hope it is fun for everyone. My father passed away a year ago. Among his belongings were a couple of ammo cans and I thought he would enjoy putting them to good use. If you are on four wheelers you may want to leave by the southern route. It is called the whoop-dee-doo trail. It is great fun and returns you back to the not-so-grand area. Thanks
