Nel Parco delle foreste casentinesi nasce l'Arno, e questa cache vi
porta a vedere dove.
La cache è un contenitore lock&lock piazzato nelle vicinanze
della "picnic Area" di Capo D'Arno. Qui potete guadare l'Arno con
un passo e lavarvici pure le mani dentro...provate a farlo a
Firenze :)
Nessuna difficoltà per raggiungerla, una volta arrivati sul posto
partendo ad esempio dallo stesso parcheggio indicato per Monte
Falterona o Monte Falco. Mettete in conto un paio d'ore di cammino
almeno, con un dislivello di 3/400 metri.
Più che per il valore pesaggistico, sempre comunque elevato, la
location è interessante da un punto di vista simbolico: la cache
stessa è vicina ad una lapide piazzata dal CAI a sottolineare la
rilevanza del luogo.
Come al solito, adottate il normale buon senso da camminata in
montagna e rispettate quanto vi circonda...
The Arno sources are inside the Park of Casentinese Forest, and
this cache will bring you to discover it.
The cache is a lock&lock container, placed near the "picnic
area" of Capo D'Arno. Here you will be able to cross the Arno river
in a single step and even to wash your hands inside it.. try this
in Florence, if you dare :)
Very easy to reach once arrived on the spot, starting from the same
parking suggested for M.Falco or M.Falterona caches. It will take a
couple of hours to reach the location, wit a 3/400m climb.
More than the naturalistic value (quite high anyway), the place is
interesting for being the source of the river that crosses
Florence.
As usual, be careful as required by a mountain path (even really
easy) ad respect the wildlife.
