Geocache Description:

Please note: it appears this cache is no longer available. We moved out of state and the troop that we passed it too just couldn't keep it up. Thanks to all who kept this going so long. Located on Rim just of 260 in the Wildlife Preserve

Please Note: recent logs shoe it missing. We moved away and could no longer keep it up. Thanks for so many great people who searched for so many years. When we made this my sons were so little and now they are almost out of high school.

Our webelos cub scout den put this cache together and we hid it as a game for them to find. All are welcome to check out this beautiful spot. Take 260 from Payson towards Forest Lakes. This cache is just off of Forest Road 237 and the General Crook Trail. You will pass under large electricity pylons and see some telephone poles along the "road." This is a wildlife preserve and no motorized vehicles are allowed which helps with the peace and quiet of the place. There is a small parking lot, probably allows 10 cars and a bathroom at the starting point. Using a westerly then northern bearing would be easiest way to find, but shortest distance between two points is a straight line, just be prepared to bushwack a bit. Hope you enjoy. Please leave a note in the log as we will check it again in August with the cub scout den to see who has come and what has been taken/left. Be sure to hide it as you found it. Not very hard cache, but may have underestimated the difficulty. Please advise. Cache is an army ammo box and contains a log, pens, and knick knacks.
