Tiger Cubs Rock!
My son and I got involved in scouting this year where he was the first cub to get his Tiger Badge. Part of the requirements for getting the badge is to complete five "Go See It"s. A "Go See It" is when the den visits a local establishment such as a place of local government or business. We were quite fortunate this year to visit our fire station, police station, ambulance company, a private heliport, and the nearby New Hampshire Air National Guard facility.
I have passed by this spot a number of times but never stopped to see what it actually was. When free time caught up with my curiosity, I was surprised at what I found.
Here's a great "Go See It".
There's a small, gravel, parking area at N 43 13.915 W 071 28.274 that can be accessed from the northbound side of NH106. No need to park along any busy roadways. Bring a bag for Cache In - Trash Out as some debris gets blown down from the nearby roadway. Watch out for ticks.
