Norton Wolf Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

furballmac: Too muddy and a bit of a scramble. Unable to find it and I'm afraid my lovely wolf log is now just rotting tree. Its been 11 years!

Geocache Description:

A nice, quite level footpath following round the old cement works.

5th cache in the Norton series. You'll need to use your imagination, but I thought this was a wolf log. It's a short walk. There are a few roadside parking spots, where the entrances to the old concrete works were.

The starting point is at an unmarked footpath with two small bollards: N55.55.685, W 003.23.001

There is a road near here which takes you a little closer to the co-ords. This is a PRIVATE road. It is very rough terrain/pot holed anyway, but please do NOT try to drive up here as it upsets the locals. The private sign has come down but please do not leave the main tarmaced road in your vehicle.

I am adding this additional comment due to so many people saying the footpath can be very wet, boggy, overgrown. Wear your cacher gear and don't go in high heels or skimpy shorts please!
