Dombås kirke stod ferdig bygget i 1939. Byggematerialet er
Jøndalsstein (sparagmitt), hentet fra Jøndalen i Dovre.
Kirkearkitektene er Magnus og Espen Poulsson.
Interiøret i kirken er utformet av Martin Nyhus, Olaf S. Nyhus og
Ola J. Vadet.
Altertavlen er laget i tre etter tegning av Magnus Poulsson.
Malerinnen Greta Thiis har malt den. De ti bildene fra Kristi liv
er malt på treplater og senere montert på altertavlen. "Den
tronende Kristus" er malt med bakgrunnslandskap inspirert av lokal
natur.
Prekestolen er dekorert av arkitekt Magnus Poulsson. Han ønsket å
uttrykke "ordets frukt" i dekoreringen. Poulsson var i tidsnød før
innvielsen, og dekoreringen var fra arkitektens side ment
midlertidig. Noen endelig dekorering har det ikke blitt noe
av.
Vinduene har antikkglassruter fra glassmester Larsen i Oslo.
Dørbeslag og lamper i oppgangen er utformet av Arne Toftemo, Dovre.
Spiret er levert av kunstsmed S. Kloppen, Sjoa.
Klokkene kommer fra S. Olsen & Sønn, klokkestøperi i Tønsberg.
Storklokka bærer navnet Dombåsklokka. Den har innskriften:
"Dombåsklokka. Gitt av Dombås Syforening 1939". "Jeg skammer meg
ikke ved evangeliet" (Rom. 1.16). Tonen klinger i aiss, og vekten
er 389 kg.
Minsteklokka bører innskriften: "Vesleklokka. Gitt av Aksel og
Christine Michelsen 1939." "Herren gav, Herren tok, Herrens navn
være lovet". (Jobs bok 1.21). Denne klokka linger i ciss, og vekten
er 235 kg.
Kirken fikk sitt nåværende orgel i 1969. Orgelet er laget av
Rieger-Kloss orgelfabrikk i Krnov i Tsjekkoslovakia. Det er et
elektronisk instrument med 10 stemmer. . Omvisning i
sommermånedene.

Dombås church was built in 1939. Building material is Jondal Stein
(sparagmitt), taken from Jondal in Dovre. Church architects are
Magnus and Espen Poulsson.
The interior of the church was designed by Martin Nyhus, Nyhus Olaf
S. and John J. Vadet.
The altarpiece is made of wood after a drawing by Magnus Poulsson.
Templates By Greta Thiis have painted it. The ten images from the
life of Christ is painted on wood panels and then mounted on the
altar. "The throne of Christ" is painted with background landscapes
inspired by local scenery.
The pulpit is decorated by architect Magnus Poulsson. He wanted to
express "the word fruit" in the work. Poulsson was lack of time
before the inauguration, and the decorating was from the
architect's side meant temporarily. Some final decoration has not
been any.
The windows are antique glass windows from the glazier Larsen of
Oslo.
Door fittings and lamps in the hall, designed by Arne Toftemo,
Dovre.
The spire is provided by art smith S. Kloppenborg, Sjoa.
The bells from S. Olsen & Son, bell foundry in Tønsberg. Large
bell bearing the name Dombås clock. It has the inscription: "At
Dombås. Given by Dombås Syforening 1939. "I am not ashamed of the
gospel" (Romans 1:16). The tone sounds in Aissa, and the weight is
855.8 Lbs.
At least burdens the inscription: "Little bell. Given the Shaft and
Christine Michelsen 1939." "The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away,
blessed be the name of the Lord." (Book of Job 1:21). This clock
tions in C # and the weight is 517 Lbs.
The church got its present organ in 1969. The organ is made by
Rieger-Kloss organ factory in Krnov in Czechoslovakia. It is an
electronic instrumental with 10 votes. Tours during the
summer-season.
