Your task is to go to the posted coordinates.
Take a photo of the sign.
Using your GPSr, follow a bearing of 224oT for 19 metres.
Locate and sign the log book.

Email me (MacDuff@Dal.Ca)
the photo and tell me:

1) What is the name of the famous American poet who wrote about Admiral d'Anville's voyage?

2) According to the small plaque ( not the plaque at the published coordinates) located in the park, How many people perished at the encampment?

BONUS QUESTION, not required for logging
The ghost of Duc d'Anville is said to haunt what Halifax location? The site where he was first buried.

The answers to these questions and the history of that failed attempt are on the Internet.

Thanks to Peter Landry for allowing me to link to his pages.

Please return the cache container in the same manner that you found it. The container location is in direct sight lines with a busy bus stop, use your ninja skill or invisibility cloak to avoid the prying eyes of muggles.

Feel free to post your favourite pictures of the area, but not the cache location.

Trading items or trackables will NOT fit into the container.

BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT !!!
Pencil or ball point pen work best on the waterproof paper.
