Welcome to
Geocaching in Anoka County Parks.
We are pleased to
be a part of a trial evaluation project for Geocaching in
Anoka County Parks.
These caches have been placed with permission
of the Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department in Rice Creek
Chain of Lakes Park Preserve as a pilot study to evaluate
the feasibility of allowing caches to be placed in other Parks
in the future. This study will run for one year and be
evaluated before a determination will be made about placing caches
in other Anoka County Parks. Please do not ask to place
caches in this, or any other Anoka County Park until the evaluation
has been completed.
So please visit these caches and log your
finds. Keep in mind that, as with all logs, they are
usually read by Park staff and should communicate your experiences
and observations while in the Park. Hopefully, you did some
CITO while visiting and can relay that information to the
staff.
So.....here's the
cache:
Cache is small sized container
with SWAG, logbook, and Geocaching information sheet. Please use
the listed parking and entry points to access this cache. Do not
bushwack. There is an old farm road going directly to the cache
site. If you not are on on the trail, you went the wrong way. Also,
since this is an abandoned farm, you may encounter old barbed wire
fencelines. Keep a close eye out, especially on the smaller
ones.
Trade up, Trade even, or do
not Trade.
Park Hours are 6 am to 1/2
hour after sunset.
Vehicle Permit required for
entry.
Have Fun, and Be
Safe.
Special Note:
This cache will be disabled and removed during the months of
October, November, and December, when a controlled archery
deer hunt takes place. Thank You for your
understanding.

Grey Wolf's Stamp
of Approval.
