How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Carrot Field in Dracut, MA is regularly used for softball and baseball games and practice. Paved parking is available within 100 feet of the cache.

The difficulty rating is higher than it would be otherwise because this is a HIGH traffic area part of the day. Plan your find so as not to be searching while the fields are being used, otherwise the chance of this cache being muggled is very, very high.

The cache is a bright orange (as in Carrot) waterproof match container about 2 inches long. In it is a logsheet, a pencil stub and the treasure (several pieces of black onyx). Trade items are not necessary but if you wish to leave something, it must be about dime-sized for everything to fit in the cache.

Person who takes the last piece of black onyx, please mention it in the log so we can replenish.
