Parking
...is available all around, no use to recommend one over the other as occupancy level may fluctuate frequently. Just pick one and walk!
Note that parking requires payment. In most lots this means displaying one coupon per hour from which the starting date.time is scratched off. Booklets with coupons can be bought at a variety of locations, just ask around.
The Task
Start
The initial coordinates bring you to the start.
The Final is at N 02° 11.ABC E 102° 15.DEF
You will need to find the following information to fill in the variables A to F. Additional values will be needed in the formulas. Date calculations only use full years and ignore months and days!!!..
X = The number of cannon guarding the fort.
Waypoint 2
Now move to waypoint 2: N 02° 11.562 E 102° 14.986
This brings you to the general vicinity to answer these questions:
A = Count the upright tombstones in the easternmost of the smaller two room
B = Divide X by the last digit of the year the statue that is now missing a hand was created in a country far away.
D = the last digit of the digit-sum (hash) (once!) of the number of rungs to climb into the tower just outside the church ruins. This tower is not a part of the church, but the now defunct 'Malacca Light' lighthouse.

Find the path to the Dutch Cemetery. How many characters (each) do the first words on each line of the sign right of the gate have??
C = number of letters in first word
Alternatively, go back and g find hi is many years after her father Jaffrou Johanna died. Take the digit sum of the number of years (1 digit)

Now follow that path to waypoint 3: N 02° 11.622 E 102° 15.045
Note: The gates may be closed on one or both side(s). You may be able to go through nonetheless. If not, there is a 'long way around' to the cemetery. Go find it!
I also had reports of the cemetery itself being locked at certain (non-published) times, though it should be easy to get in (and out) anyway, For those unwilling to do this, two of the hints below provide for alternative ways to derive the required numbers. That will require some more searching though (I don't want to make it too easy!)
Somewhere here you will find out about two cousins.
E = Divide the cousins' age difference by the value X found earlier.
F = Add 1 to the number of years between the cousins' deaths
