Geocache Description:

Nice, fairly secluded mountain pond area with plenty of opportunities to view wildlife such as moose, deer, loons, eagles, etc.

This cache is located at Little Dummer Pond. While we were at the Pond, a loon sang and dove for fish. Having been there the day before to scope out the area, we brought and filled up a large trashbag of litter. We plan to do more CITO when we're back in the area. The drive to the cache is about 4.5 miles from Route 16 on a well-grated dirt road. The road is also open to ATVs and is part of the Millsfield Trail System. At 3.5 miles up, bear right at the "Y" in the road to head for the cache. Not far from our cache are three additional caches up the road. Enjoy the adventure!
