Geocache Description:

This footbridge in Upper Beeding forms the Adur crossing for both the South Downs Way AND the Downs Link. The bridge has been improved recently to make it wheelchair friendly.

On the day of the Adur Bath Tub Race, Scouts sell flour bombs on the bridge to pelt the tubs with as they pass underneath. I had the pleasure of enduring this barrage in 2002!
