Bird and view tower of Skeppsholmen offers nice view to sea and towards the city of Tammisaari.
The only route to the cache site is a trail going through the bird reserve, so please leave your dog home. There are poisonous giant hogweeds growing along the trail which can cause severe dermatitis if the sap gets on human skin.
You can leave your car near the railroad. Be careful when crossing the railroad track. There is quite heavy cargo train traffic to the port of Hanko.
The place seems to be popular among local teenagers and unfortunately they have bad habit of leaving their trashes. Please practice some CITO when visiting the cache! We picked up a disposable grill and some other trashes while hiding the cache, but there is still lots of broken glass in front of the tower.

Ainoa reitti tornille on linnustonsuojelualueen läpi kulkeva polku, joten älä tule kätkölle koiran kanssa. Polun varrella kasvaa myrkyllisiä jättiputkia, joiden erittämä neste voi aiheuttaa vakavia palovammoja iholle joutuessaan.
Auton voi pysäköidä hiekkatien päähän radan lähelle. Ole varovainen ylittäessäsi junarataa. Radalla kulkee aika paljon tavarajunia Hangon satamaan.
Paikka tuntuu olevan paikallisen nuorison suosiossa ja heillä on ikävä tapa jättää roskat jälkeensä. Täällä onkin hyvä paikka harrastaa CITOa kätköilyn ohessa! Me keräsimme paikalta kertakäyttögrillin ja muita roskia kätkön piilotuksen yhteydessä, mutta tornin etupuolella on vielä paljon lasinsirpaleita.
