This is one of 17 caches in the
Crisscrossin’ Kendall County series. When visiting each cache
in the series, be sure to take note of the “clue
numbers” provided in the cache containers as you will need
these to determine the coordinates for the final, “County
Treasure”. Please don’t share clue numbers with your
caching friends; make them find them just like you did!
I call Kendall County home; after all, I was born here and have
lived in either Oswego or Boulder Hill for nearly all of my 35
years. Here's the problem…..I’ve spent just about all
my time in the northeast corner of the county, only occasionally
venturing out to other areas. I decided recently that I was long
overdue to visit all the cities, towns and villages that the county
has to offer, and this series of caches resulted from my
journey.
The hides in this series range in difficulty and terrain (the final
will be especially physically challenging), and also by size of
container. Despite the current price of gas (yikes!), I hope
you’ll take the time to find them all and perhaps enjoy some
new sights along the way. This series will take you to:
Aurora
Boulder Hill
Bristol
Helmar
Joliet
Lisbon
Millbrook
Millington
Minooka
Montgomery
Newark
Oswego
Plainfield
Plattville
Plano
Sandwich
Yorkville

to the Kendall County Historical Society, or take a gander at the
write up by Roger Matile, former editor of the Ledger-Sentinel, at

A
nice highway map of the county is available at

Happy hunting!
Note: this cache is not located in the nearby cemetery, so there's
no need to enter that property to retrieve it.
