Dieser Cache führt Dich von der Bergstation der Karkogelbahn zum Beschneiungsteich, einem der landschaftlich imposantesten Plätze Abtenaus.
This trip leads you from the Karkogel mountain station to a small lake, the water reservoir for the snow guns, one of the most spectacular sides in Abtenau.
Die Wanderstrecke beträgt hin und zurück ca. 2 Kilometer, sofern man vom Ausgangspunkt TALSTATION mit der Karkogelbahn (www.karkogel.com) hinauffährt. Wanderer können aber auch zu Fuß den Berg hinauf, die Höhendifferenz beträgt 400 m, Gehzeit ca. eine weitere Stunde. An der Bergstation wartet die Karkogelhütte (www.karkogelhuette.net).
The trip is about 2 km long (round trip, as long you are using the Karkogel gondola (www.karkogel.com) from the start of the cache. If you prefer to walk, altitude difference is about 400m, which is one other hour to walk. At the mountain station the “Karkogelhütte” (Restaurant www.karkogelhuette.net) welcomes you.
Die obigen Koordinaten kennzeichnen den Ausgangspunkt, den Parkplatz an der Talstation der Abtenauer Karkogel Bergbahnen. Die Parkplatzbenützung ist kostenlos. Der Minigolfplatz und die vielen Attraktionen wie Sommerrodelbahn, Offroad- Scooter, Bockerl, Quad Park, Riesentrampolin, Klettergerüste etc. sollen vom losmarschieren nicht abhalten ?. An der Ostseite der Talstation steht groß geschrieben, wie hoch die Talstation und wie hoch die Bergstation liegt.
The coordinates above show you the start point, which is the parking space of the „Karkogel mountain railways”. Parking is for free. Many attractions like toboggan run, miniature golf, Off-road Scooter, Quad Park, giant trampoline etc. shouldn’t keep you from starting your trip. On the east side of the gondola bottom station big letters tell you, on which altitude the bottom station and on which altitude the mountain station is located.

Folge nun dem Weg anfangs steilen Weg westlich der Talstation hinauf zum Karkogel/Gsengalm oder benütze die Karkogelbahn.
Start walking up the hill on the steep walking trail west of the bottom station towards Karkogel/Gsengalm or use the Karkogel gondola.
Auf der Rückseite der Bergstation (Süden) weißt eine große gelbe Tafel auf die Regeln für die Rodelbahn hin. Wie viele Regeln gibt es?
