This cache is located about .29 miles from the parking coordinates. You can follow trails for most of the way and then there will be a short bushwhack.
This cache is named for the friends who lured me into GeoCaching - The Garden Gnomes from Maine. Recently we went caching around Boothbay and visited the Maine Botanical Gardens. While there the boy Gnome and Girl Gnome built some fairy houses and in tribute to that day I have made a Gnome Home in the woods. When I first started my caching, they gave me a Gnome to help in my caching attempts. Since then my geosense has improved greatly. First to find gets their own Travel Gnome to help in their efforts. Also starting off in the cache is the Dasher travel bug, a Hot Wheels car, some puzzle pieces spelling Geo and my signature Duke Juan Calling card. Not a lot of room so keep trade items small.
I did my best on the coordinates. If I am off, please let me know and I will attempt to correct. Using a new GPS and it keeps saying I am off by 20 feet or so.
