A wonderful spot to take a nice hike through wooded areas and meadows. This is our contribution to many other great caches along this trail.
We've had a pretty stressful week and well we needed to do something easy. It is no one's fault but my own. You see sometimes I 'over do it'. I wanted to place some caches for the Early Summer Get Together and kinda went overboard. Once again 'the idea' is one thing, but the 'implementation' is quite something else.
Little things that went wrong and needed to be redesigned this week:
-the pole was too short
-the prongs were too weak
-the glue was not strong enough
-lasers affect compass needles
-sunlight plays havoc on lasers
-string is easily tangled in the woods
amongst others.
Thanks to QMom and QGirl who put up with me for hours in the woods while we tried to get this all straightened out!
With everything in place it was time to relax. And then it hit me, the old adage "K.I.S.S" => Keep It Simple Stupid rolled into my brain and so we went out early Sunday morning to place one more and here it is, a very simple, hopefully enjoyable cache, for you to find.
