Kerry's View of Seattle
In Washington, United States
How Geocaching Works
This is a magnetic key holder, located at Kerry Viewpoint Park in Seattle, Washington.
This park offers fantastic views of the city and Elliot Bay. If you're lucky and visit when "the mountain is out" you're in for a real treat! The best time is around dusk when the city lights are just turning on, the buildings are shining in the evening sunlight, and Mount Rainier sits in the distance glowing a pink/orange colour. It reminds me of something you might see on a postcard.
Since the park does get a lot of muggle traffic, try your best to be discreet. Lots of photographers, tourists, and even locals often line up along the rail. However, most people will be admiring the view too much to notice, so don't get too paranoid.
Also, don't forget to log the nearby virtual cache! Remember to place it back exactly as found and enjoy the view!
Since this is near a popular tourist attraction, I expect a lot of visits to this cache. Like most big cities, people from all over the world come and visit Seattle, so I thought it would be fun to keep track of where visiting cachers are from. Feel free to post which state or country you live in in your log and I'll add it to the map!
