On top of Island of Kärrsön
This cache is located on historic land. The island of Kärrsön has been farmland for a long time and on top of the island there has been a windmill for probably over a century.
The island has no ferry but has an excellent natural harbour on the N side.
In the valley is an old farmhouse and some unused farmland. Today the island is populated by a petulant landowner (sometimes) and a couple of hundred deer (always).
The cache offers a splendid view of the archipelago of Hake and Älgöfjorden with Åstol and Marstrand to the West and Älgön, Hättan with its pilotlookout (and another cache!) to the South East. Across the bay is Risön with the conspicuous White house (Vita huset) from where this cache emanated.
