Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are of an actual micro cache located near the headquarters of the NH Division of Forests & Lands where during weekday business hours you can obtain information on NH fire towers. However you may not log this cache online until you have also visited 10 geocaches located within .2 miles of 10 different active NH fire towers selected from the list below. Cache difficulty based on HQ cache, other caches vary.

There are 15 active and publicly-accessible fire lookout towers in NH, and the state will give you a patch and certificate for visiting any 5 of them:

(descriptions) (visit link)

These towers are only staffed during days of high fire danger only, so there may be nobody there when you visit. Most towers have a viewing platform just below the cab that you can reach anytime. If the lookout is there, ask to visit the cab and you may hear some amazing stories.

Here is the list (many towers have nearby benchmarks, if a WP is given the tower itself is a benchmark):
Federal Hill 42 48.245 -71 37.821
Pack Monadnock 42 51.751 -71 52.727
Warner Hill 42 53.122 -71 15.970
Pitcher Mtn 43 05.638 -72 08.100
Pawtuckaway (South) 43 06.114 -71 10.873
Oak Hill 43 16.752 -71 30.324
Blue Job 43 19.891 -71 06.966
Kearsarge (South) 43 22.993 -71 51.439
Cardigan (OC1435) 43 38.972 -71 54.852
Belknap (OC1334) 43 31.077 -71 22.162
Green Mtn (OC1324) 43 46.063 -71 02.216
Red Hill (OC1360) 43 45.345 -71 27.477
Prospect 44 27.062 -71 34.272
Milan Hill (PF0902) 44 34.337 -71 13.393
Magalloway 45 03.771 -71 09.747
Only 12 of these had caches when the challenge started, but thanks to some well-known cachers there are now caches for all 15!

And now for a few rules:
* Online logs should include tower name, date, and cache for each of the 11, if you visit more than 10 tower caches before HQ cache log them all! You do not need to give the cache coordinates.
* For a cache to be eligible, its description must give the actual coordinates of cache (or first WP for multi) to everyone, caches where "these coordinates are fake" and Premium caches are not eligible. (GC14DDJ, GC1C2GB, GC16R28, GC1BH8H, GC1BHBF, GC1C2GB, GC1CQE8, and perhaps others are ineligible under this rule)
* Previously-found caches count
* Cache hider may count their cache
* Only one cache need be visited for each tower, it must be within .2 mi (rounded) of tower coord, and you must log it in accordance with owner's instructions

FTF: JEM3

First 10: JEM3, Hipointer and Capiti, Team Bullis, 2GeoHounds, SiegiGeo, tigquilt, HockeyPuck, cwgray, rjb43nh, meandmydogs

I had thought that since this challenge could be completed from scratch in 2 days it might attract tower junkies, but instead the first 10 are more like a Who's Who of NH caching with thousands of caches each.
