Geocache Description:

Quogue Wetlands Preserve, Quogue NY

Parking at: N 40° 48.890 W 072° 34.599 Part two in a two-part series, located in the Quogue Wetlands Preserve.

For this cache, ("The Headliner"), we're asking that you take a moment and jot down in the logs a couple of headlines for the day you find the cache. The hope being that over time, it'll serve as a sort of historical diary. The three I started the log with are:

  1. Obama and McCain battle it out for president.
  2. Salmonella poisoning outbreak from tomatoes, no source found.
  3. Gas prices rise over $4.00/ gallon.
Or, if you'd prefer, just sign the log. At any rate, enjoy this beautiful area. Note: this is the second part of a two part cache. The first part is: Boardwalk 1 - Opening Act 2.0

The surrounding area is private property, but the boardwalk is open to the public, so please stay on the boardwalk as the signs request. There should be no need to leave the boardwalk to find either of the caches in the series.
