A park and grab located within the new Temple Mountain State Reservation. The container is a small clear lock and lock container. The starting contents include a few skiing related items as well as items that my kids said just had to be included. There is large dirt parking lot on the south side of 101 near the summit of the road. Parking is free.
Temple Mountain Ski Area operated on this site from 1938 until 2001. After its closing it was purchased by a local couple that worked with the Monadnock Consrvancy to get the State of New Hampshire to purchse the 350 acre site as part of the state park system. This sale was completed in December of 2007. The Wapack Trail passes through this site just west of the parking area.
