Near the Virgin Mary in Lake Garda, @ 18M deep. SCUBA equipment & certification required. Very easy to find cache if meeting these requirements.
The cache is an olive green watertight cylinder measuring approximately 9 inches by 2 inches. The cache itself is very easy to find if you are SCUBA certified and arrive with your gear, but it is at 18M so unattainable without it. It is weighted down by a 2Kg weight and attached with a metal ring and snap-link. We did this so you don't have to worry about throwing off your buoyancy too much when you retrieve and replace the cache; simply leave the weight at the site to reattach to the tube upon completion. There is a small notepad and NAUI pencil inside a Ziploc bag to log your discovery, as well as a small token for the first finder. Identifying it is not required for credit. The coordinates listed are for the diver's insertion point. Follow the platforms down 15M, then head ENE. This will need to be a 2 dive excursion as you will need to return to the surface to open container to fill out logbook before returning it to the geocache site.
