Geocache Description:

Something along the way for cachers headed for Tri-Peaks after coming up Boney Mountain from Newbury Park.

Views never quit up here. This cache is an addition to two strings of caches coming up from Rancho Sierra Vista via two different unmaintained trails. The container is a cammoed largish plastic jar. The area is so barren I had to wander off to the west a bit to be able to hide it. If you are heading south, don’t follow the arrow until it is pointing almost WNW because the chaparral is very sparse there. The sparse chaparral is more noticeable when heading north.
