Cache is an ammo can. Trail is wide and slightly uphill.
This cache is an invitation to visit more of a beautiful trail system. The cache location is not remarkable, the beauty is in the journey (about one mile). If you continue from here on to Bickford Heights you will pass through an awesome boulder field.
Parking is the same as for Heron Pond Trail cache. If you are traveling north on Rt. 16, go past Chocorua Lake. Keep your eyes peeled for a big boulder on the right, the road in to parking is opposite the boulder. There are no signs for hiking, but there is a sign: "Korson". There is still one private house in the field you will walk through. Someone was playing a recorder on the porch when I walked by. Parking is just before the house, about 1/2 mile in. For this you will see a sign. Maps of the trail system can be found at the Heron Pond Trail Kiosk. (I might post a photo of the map, in case there are none available.)
