Gipsie knew too much.  She recently learned of the inner workings of a secret cabal of cachers working on the ultimate puzzle cache.  These cachers had some pull and soon the Cache Police took gipsie's beloved cat Borracha into protective custody to ensure gipsie's silence. For her own good you understand.

Now you have to realize that the Cache Police is less of a law enforcement agency and more of a vigilante group.  They stuffed Borracha into a cache and hid her somewhere in the Wharton State Forest.  The Cache Police were kind enough to leave the lid open so that Borracha could forage for herself.  However the cache is her only shelter and Borracha does not know the way home, so she is not straying far from her hiding place.

Borracha wants to be reunited with gipsie but the Cache Police took her cell phone.  She has no way to phone home.  However she found a hollow tree near where she was hidden.  Borracha discovered that if she scratched the tree with her left paw it let out a booming sound.  And if she scratched the tree with her right paw a different but equally loud sound came from the tree.  Borracha had found a natural drum that she could use to send a message to gipsie to be rescued.

So Borracha devised a code that she knew her owner would understand and set to scratching her way to freedom.  The following pattern of tones from the natural drum where heard for several days at Batsto village before the drum fell silent.

3-3 4-3 6-2 3-1 8-1 4-2 3-2 2-1 9-4 4-3 6-1 8-2 8-1 4-2 6-1 2-1 7-3 5-2 8-1 4-2 3-2 6-2 2-3 6-3 6-2 8-1 4-3 6-2 8-2 3-2 6-3 6-2 3-2 4-2 8-2 6-2 3-1 7-3 3-2 3-1 3-3 4-3 3-3 8-1 9-3 8-1 4-2 7-3 3-2 3-2 3-3 3-2 3-2 8-1 3-3 8-2 7-3 8-1 4-2 3-2 7-3 2-1 8-1 2-1 2-2 3-2 2-1 7-3 4-3 6-2 4-1 6-3 3-3 8-1 9-1 6-3 4-2 8-2 6-2 3-1 7-3 3-2 3-1 2-1 6-2 3-1 6-2 4-3 6-2 3-2 3-1 3-2 4-1 7-3 3-2 3-2 7-4 8-1 7-3 8-2 3-2

Where is Borracha?  Why did the drum go silent? Can you find her before she runs out of food?  There are plenty of blueberries nearby but Borracha wants tuna, which is in short supply. Break the code and rescue Borracha so there will be a happy family reunion.  Borracha is counting on you!

Bonus: There is a benchmark at the posted coordinates.  This is a good benchmark to learn the basics on.
