Geocache Description:

This cache is a small lock and lock container which contains only a log book. No trading items larger than a geocoin or small toy are likely to fit in this cache. Bring your own pen or pencil.

This cache was placed to mark the far northern end of the Sanford Rail Trail. The southern end is marked by the "Deering Pond Gas Saver" cache (GC15NC7). Several caches already are in place between these two extremes. I encourage other cachers to place a few new caches on the remaining open parts of this trail so that a hike from one gas saver to the other will produce a good days haul.
