This cache is hidden in memory of Curtis Wells Mooney, the finder of the 'Lost Graves'. As a 16 year old, Curtis went hunting with his father & they came upon two graves in the woods. One was for a 5 year girl & the other was for her mother. Off & on for the next 50 years, when Curtis went hunting or hiking he tried to locate the two graves. Exactly 50 years later he found the graves again. Curtis hiked into the site with lumber to build a fence and cement to repair the girls headstone. We hope that all who find this cache will appreciate the history & dedication of a man who didn't stop looking until he had rediscovered these two lost people and their resting place.
