Just a "flash" meeting in Wrightwood to help boost its
geocaching activity. Another opportunity for High Desert geocachers
to meet up who couldn't make the Victorville meeting at the Cocky
Bull to get together!
As is tradition when I host or cohost an event, there will be a
new caches released for the event goers to find first. Coordinates
will be released at the event.
For those who will be spending the day in Wrightwood caching,
don't forget that you need a forest adventure pass. A yearly pass
is only $30 and entitles you to park anywhere in national
forestland areas where you see the "forest pass required" signs
(which is everywhere around here that isn't a residence or a
business). You can buy them at any rangers station (like further
down highway 2 west of Wrightwood or in town at the gas
station/convenience store on the corner where Park Drive T's off
with the main highway.
