Den gamle farvergård er en af de mest markante bygninger i det gamle Ebeltoft. Farveriet har været i drift i mere end 200 år, men er nu museum, åbent i juni, juli og august. Bygningen er dog også værd at se udefra, og det kan lade sig gøre hele året.

”Farvergården” (the old dyer’s factory) is one of the most notable houses in old Ebeltoft. The dyer’s factory has been in use for more than 200 years, but is now a museum, open during June, July, and August. However, the building is worth to look at from the outside too, and that is possible through the year.
This cache gives one of five hints necessary for finding the cache “Ebeltoft rundt” (Ebeltoft Tour).
To solve “Ebeltoft rundt” you must write down the number in top of the logbooks for the 5 caches:

- Farvergården (The dyer’s factory)
- Det gamle rådhus (the old town hall)

- Fregatten (the frigate)
If you find these 5 and remember the numbers, you can find “Ebeltoft rundt”. You may also find these caches separately like normal geocaches, without having to find them all. If you are walking, the order mentioned gives the easiest tour, but there is not far anyway.
