Sofres de claustrofobia? Tens medo da escuridão e de Orcs?
Esquece lá isso, agora estás a entrar em MORIA, uma das maiores galerias da ilha com cerca de 2400 metros de comprimento.
Nos livros e filmes do “Senhor dos Anéis”, MORIA foi o nome dado pelos Elfos Eldar a um enorme complexo subterrâneo no noroeste da Terra Média, que compreende uma vasta rede de túneis, câmaras, minas e enormes salões, que se encontravam por baixo das Montanhas Sombrias.
Para atravessar a galeria precisas de mais ou menos uma hora, e a tua lanterna será o teu único amigo.
Com 500 metros de rochas maciças por cima de ti, não precisas do GPS, não é?
Se vens do lado do Caldeirão Verde, sobe as escadas (waypoint) e chegarás ao “Crossroad” (ver imagem) que te dará as indicações a seguir para cada cache.
No meio da galeria há uma curva em “S”. Enquanto não estiveres nesta curva, podes ver a entrada ou saída da galeria.
No momento em que entrares na curva “S” não conseguirás ver nem a entrada nem a saída do túnel. Agora tens que focar a tua atenção no muro de betão ao teu lado esquerdo com uma altura de 130 cm. Encontrarás lá o “X” (ver spoiler). A cache está por cima do muro, coberta por pedras. Do lado oposto do muro passa a levada.
Boa sorte, leva as pilhas carregadas na tua lanterna e... cuidado com os Orcs!

Do you suffer claustrophobia? You fear the dark and Orcs?
Forget about it, you are now entering in MORIA, one of the largest galleries on the island, about 2400 meters long.
In the “Lord of the Rings” books and films, MORIA was the Eldar Elves' name given to a huge underground complex in northwestern of Middle Earth, comprising a vast network of tunnels, chambers, mines, and huge halls beneath of the Misty Mountains.
To cross the gallery you need about an hour, and your flashlight will be your only friend. With 500 m of massive rocks above you, you do not need GPS, do you?
If you come from the side of “Caldeirão Verde”, go up the stairs (waypoint) and you will arrive at the "crossroad" (see image) that will give you the following indications for each cache.
In the middle of the gallery there is an "S" curve. While you are not on this turn, you can see the entrance or exit of the gallery.
By the time you enter in the "S" curve you will not be able to see either the entrance or the tunnel exit. Now you have to focus your attention on the wall on your left side with a height of 130 cm. You will find there the "X" (see spoiler). The cache is over the wall, covered with stones. On the opposite side of the wall runs the levada.
Good luck, take the loaded batteries in your flashlight and... beware of the Orcs!
