Held at Spring Lake Park by Hastings MN.
Calling all cachers from Experts to newbees who would like to teach geocaching and share their knowledge about the great activity.
Come meet new people and discuss your experiences with geomugglers about geocaching and turn them ingo geocachers.
We will lead a few geocache hunts and talk about this unique, high-tech outdoor adventure. The hands-on “Geocaching 101” program, practice and hunt will help participants understand the use of the Global Position System (GPS) and it's use in leaving and finding hidden caches anywhere in the world.
The free program starts at 10:30 and will run untill about 6:00
There are BBQ grills, Picinic tables and a few caches around this area for you to log. I will hide a few temp easy ones around so mugglers can "Learn" how and what geocaching is all about. All the caches out in this area take about 3 hours to do (or the ones that I have done anyway).
Please bring your own food and drink for this event. Along with charcole if needed.
Meeting in the MAIN parking lot close to the play ground.
There is going to be an add put in the Hastings Free Press in regards to this event. Some people may show up with no gps or knowlage about the sport.
