Auf dem Weg zum Cache kommt ihr am Zusammenfluss von Holtheimer Wasser und der Altenau am Namensgeber dieses Caches, der Amerunger Kapelle, vorbei. Sie wird auch kurz Annenkapelle genannt, weil sie der heiligen Anna geweiht ist. Jährlich jeweils zum Annentag findet hier eine Prozession statt. Erbaut wurde die Kapelle 1669 vom Fürstbischof Ferdinand von Fürstenberg und steht wohl dort wo früher im Mittelalter einmal die Ortschaft Amerungen zu finden war.
Am Portal ist noch das Wappen des Fürstbischofs zu sehen.
Der Cache selber liegt ein wenig abseits des Kapellenplatzes. Viel Spass beim Suchen.
PS: Nicht wundern, das hier zwei Cache mit dem gleichen Thema versteckt sind. Event-man und ich hatten halt zur gleichen Zeit die gleiche Idee für dieses Cacheversteck :)
