Oh Dr Beeching! This station is the end of the Battlefield line and steam trains run to Shackerstone from here. The line and station are a reminder of rail travel 40+ years ago. Nice area for a day out with Bosworth battlefield and Ashby canal being within easy walking distance.

A bit tretuous climbing up the steep incline in very wet muddy conditions, lots of muggles around and starting to get dark - but will definitely try again!!
