Paltaniemen hääkätkö - Wedding Cache of Paltaniemi Multi-cache

Siirtyessäni vapaudesta avioliiton satamaan ajattelin jakaa erään kauniin kesämaiseman Kainuusta. Paltaniemen kuvakirkko (Paltamon vanha kirkko) on vihkikirkkomme, siksi kätkössä on hääteema. Tuo siis mielellään häihin liittyviä esineitä mukanasi!

Tämän geokätkön läheisyydessä sijaitsee paljon nähtävää.

Paltaniemen kuvakirkko on 1726 valmistunut kaunis puukirkko Paltaniemellä, Kajaanissa. Pääoven yläpuolella oleva maalaus on näkemisen arvoinen.

Kuvakirkon läheisyydessä on niin ikään Keisarin talli, joka on Suomen vanhin museorakennus. Kyseisessä tallissa lepäsi Venäjän keisari Aleksanteri I vuonna 1819.

Kävelymatkan päässä kuvakirkosta sijaitsee myös ns. Eino Leino -talo, joka on tarkka jäljennös Eino Leinon asuintalosta, Hövelöstä. Eino Leino -talo ei ole museo, vaan kirjailijan muiston vaalimiseen keskittyvä perinnetalo. Katso lisätietoja Eino Leinosta.

Paltaniemellä kulkee myös museotie, joka on säilynyt melko muuttumattomana aina 1700-luvulta asti.

Kaikkiin edellä mainittuihin nähtävyyksiin on paras aika tutustua kesäisin.

Kyseessä on multikätkö. Sinun täytyy ensin löytää neljä hautakiveä Paltaniemen hautuumaalta, joiden avulla löydät lopullisen kätkön. Ensimmäiset koordinaatit vievät sinut parkkipaikalle, josta voit aloittaa hautuumaan kiertelyn. Löydettyäsi kunkin haudan sinun tulee merkitä muistiin kunkin henkilön syntymän vuosikymmen ja vuosi, joista lopuksi muodostuu kätkön sijainti.

2. Hauta P 64,2911° E 27,6682° Edellisen haudan läheisyydessä on myös Elvi Inkeri Mäkäräisen (o.s. Martikainen) hauta.

3. Hauta P 64,2923° E 27,6646° Kolmannessa haudassa lepää Erkki Keränen.

4. Hauta P 64,2916° E 27,6659° Neljännen ja viimeisen haudan levossa on Vilho Leonard Moilanen.

As I got married I thought I’d share a nice summerview from Kainuu. The old church of Paltamo is my wedding church, that is why this cache has a wedding theme. Please bring something related to wedding to this cache!

There’s a lot to see near this cache.

The old church of Paltamo in Paltaniemi was built in 1726. The church is made from wood and is very beautiful old church. The painting above the main entrance is really worth seeing.

Near the church lies also the emperor’s stable, which is Finland’s oldest museum building. Alexander I of Russia spent once a night in the stable (1819) – what a great place to see nowadays ;) See more information about Alexander I of Russia.

Near the chuch lies also the Eino Leino –building, which is a copy of the Hövelö. Hövelö was the home of a famous finnish poet, Eino Leino.

All the previous places are best visited during summertime!

This cache is a multicache. First you must find four different graves from the Paltaniemi graveyard. First coordinates will take you to a parking lot where you can begin your hunt for this cache. Each time you find a grave, you must write down the decade and the year of the birth of the deceased. Eventually you will have the coordinates for the cache!
