A multicache at the Font Major and Cami del Colera in Sella.
You can park your car at N 38º 36.674 / W 000º 16.790.
Sella is a small village with 600 residents on the Costa Blanca - Alicante province in Spain.
It is located at 16 kilometers from the beaches of the Costa Blanca.
Sella is know for its climbing (there are more than 300 climbing routes) and is surrounded by many beautiful hiking trails. The village has 3 fresh water springs, Font Major, Font Alcantara and Font de l´Arc.
The quest begins at the Font Major, the main spring and supplier of water for the village. This is where the municipal camping is situated.
At the starting coordinates you will locate an Algaroba tree. The fruits of this tree were used as a substitute for chocolate and now as cattle feed.

This area used to be a important supplier of almonds to the Turron-factories of Xixona. Because labour is too expensive these days people only grow it for personal use. You can buy delicious ´coca de Turron´ (almond cake) at the bakery of Sella and the ´flan de Turron´ (almond flan) of Bar Maria in Sella is the best we know. Use the almonds in WP1 to find WP2.
From the Municipal campground you walk on the Cami del Colera (follow the path) which was created in 1910 to avoid the village during the Cholera evasion.
