Pateniemen sahamuseo on Suomen ensimmäinen sahamuseo. Pohjois-Pohjanmaan museon ylläpitämä museo keskittyy pääasiassa vuosina 1873–1990 alueella toimineen
Pateniemen sahan toiminnan ja historian esittelyyn. Sahamuseo avattiin 19.6.1989 Pateniemen sahan entisessä, 1850-luvulla rakennetussa, varastorakennuksessa
eli niin sanotussa Nikkaripirtissä. (visit link)

Pateniemi Sawmill Museum

Pateniemi sawmill museum is the first saw museum in Finland and was opened 19.6.1989. The museum shows the history of Pateniemi sawmill which operated in the area between
the years 1873 and 1990. It is housed in a old storage building "Nikkari´s cabin", built in the 1850´s.
