Life in the Prison Camp

As most of you know, my early years were behind bars. Well, behind a big fence, anyway. Because of a trumped-up charge of auto theft, I had to spend my teenage years at the Granda Youth Farm.

The warden made all the youth prisoners work in the quarry, digging up gravel and moving the rocks to the new Half Moon Bay Airport.

The area you are at used to be the warden's backyard! He made all the prisoners build him a great vista, so that he could watch us, whilst we slaved away down below.


My job at the prison was to serve tea and sandwiches to the warden and his family. I had to hike up from the quarry floor and bring him his meal. If you look carefully, you can still find some old serving trays and pitchers around the area. Those belonged to the warden!

Well, one day, I had a bright idea. I put a geocache right under the warden! I pretended I dropped something, then slipped the cache under the deck.

I've always wondered if the cache is still there. Can you help me? If you find it, don't tell the warden. He wouldn't appreciate the irony.
