Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the Lincoln Woods Trail in the geocache friendly White Mountain National Forest. This location requires a small daily use fee ($3)at the parking location. Parking is not allowed on the Kancamagus Highway.

Park at the Lincoln Woods Ranger Station just past Hancock Campground on the Kancamagus Highway.

From this location follow the Lincoln Woods Trail. Please stay on the marked trails (Look at encrypted note and second hint to list trail not to take). The cache is no more than 20 ft off the main trail and is not located on the river side of the trail. There is no need to bushwack. This is a relatively easy 7 mile round trip hike on an abandoned railroad track. We also love to ride our bikes on this trail but there are still some railroad ties in place. You will need to hike the the last portion of the trail. During busy times of the year there are limits to the amount of visitors allowed in the area. On weekends you may want to show up early.

This is the very first cache that we have placed. The cache is a large ammo box with four travel bugs. Each travel bug was placed by members of our crew and depicts what we love. It also contains many hiking and camping necessities, kid friendly toys and fishing stuff.
