The cache is a 35mm sized container, no bushwacking, not in PO. Please replace the cache in the exact spot that it was found.
This cache is an easy 10 min walk (.36 mi) from the parking lot. The parking lot coords are N 37 10.986, W 122 22.748
This spot is a nice place to sit and enjoy the views of Pigeon Point Light Station and the coastline south of there. Quite often when it’s a foggy summer day in Half Moon Bay, this is where you can start to break out into the sunshine. The further south you go, the better chance you’ll have of catching some rays.
The Pigeon Point Light Station is located 50 miles south of San Francisco. At 115 feet, it is one of the tallest lighthouses in America. It has been in operation since 1872.
I recently visited Wilbur’s Watch, GCN3R7 and I was impressed by the views. When I logged my visit to the cache, I was surprised that it doesn’t get visited more often. I hope that Relax and Drift Away will encourage more cachers to make their way up to the beautiful views at Wilbur’s Watch, just another .65 miles up this easy grade.
