Located on conservation land just off the Norwottuck Rail Bike Trail on the Caroline Arnold trail south of Station Road, Amherst MA.
My daughters picked this location for their second cache because it is one of their favorite biking destinations. This stretch of the Norwottuck Rail Bike Trail is less traveled but well maintained. The cache is only 2/5 of a miles from the Station Road parking so it is also an easy walk. Wildlife in a marsh can sometimes be seen from the cache area which is used by bird watchers. Beavers are active in the area. The cache is now a 30 cal. ammo can that replaces the original Lock & Lock destrroyed in a fire that burned down the Bird Blind. Do not be decoyed by the Letter Box that was placed very close by.
