PEZ collectible candy
dispenser toys have been around for over 50 years and redsox2k4's
original geocache salute to them has been retired for quite a
while. We thought it was time for a blast from the past with
another PEZ themed geocache in the same park to celebrate the sweet
nuptials of
Supernanny482 and
redsox2k4 on June 27th of 2009!
This is meant to be a fun hide that reflects the young at heart
spirit of both the honorees and this large inner city recreational
park at a picturesque spot along the Merrimack River where
redsox2k4 spent much of his youth. There is some room in the
container for travelers and trinket trades. Themed exchanges of
empty PEZ dispensers are especially welcome, but a smilie will be
earned by all who sign the log.
Riverside Park is a multi-purpose recreational facility that
includes 5 baseball diamonds, 5 softball diamonds, mile-long paved
walking path, snack bar, restrooms, 3 basketball courts, street
hockey area, carry-top boat ramp, 2 tot-lots, handicapped swing
set, 2 parking lots, volleyball court, skating area, 2 horseshoe
pits, 4 tennis courts, forested river trail, and Haverhill
Stadium.
