This cache is hidden just off of the Shattuck Nature trail at the end of a dirt dead-end road. The trail is a loop with some steepness at the beginning.
The trail is adjacent to the Shattuck Golf Course (10th hole) and parking is available at N42 50.186' W72 03.739'. There is a sign at the beginning of the trail and faded "feature" signs at various stations along the trail. The trail does not get much use and is hard to see in certain places, but this really isn't a problem. The cache is an ammo box with assorted goodies. Go on a nice day and you can relax on a bench in back of the green and watch the golfers. The course also allows walking on all of their cart paths. This cache is placed on private land open to the public with permission of the manger.
