This is a small plastic peanut butter jar along the Upper Coyote Ridge Trail.
This cache is very close to the border between Portola State Park and Pescadero Creek County park. It is just up the trail from some trees that are marked with metal tags that say "Bearing Tree".
The Upper Coyote Ridge Trail is lightly used, and has vines and other vegetation encroaching on the trail here and there. There is also poison oak close to the trail here and there. I recommend long pants.
