This cache has been archived.

marybeast: So sad to see this one gone, crafted back when i put some thought into creating the mount other than keeping you fingers out of the ink when printing :)

Geocache Description:

A quick drive-by cache, please be discreet as this is a very high muggle area. Also, this is a letterbox hybrid so the stamp is part of the cache, please do not take it as trade. Bring your own ink.

It fills me with such delight to think that countless drivers pass this road sign and innocently wonder "Who is John Galt?". Why, he's the hero of Ayn Rand's novel "Atlas Shrugged". But why is this road named for him? Such a potent literary reference, what were they trying to say? Was it a message of hope or a statement about bureaucracy? It certainly doesn't lead to Galt's Gulch (I checked). Anyway, it was the inspiration for a series of letterbox caches based on some quotes from the novel (don't worry, nothing too hardcore). Cache is a small black container, contents are a tight fit so take care in putting everthing back in. Bring your own inkpad or markers.
